Hi all, I am new to the installation of all the apps / plugins / etc of the DM800HD. I have recently bought the Japhar sim for my DM800HD and installed it along with the latest version of the image: OpenPLi_4.0_Japhar_DM800HD_wIPTV_v21-feeds.nfi I thought this came with everything installed that I would need, like the IPTV plugin / CrossEPG but it doesnt, well, mind didnt lol. Anyways, does there exist anywhere that you know of a document that details what to install for the DM800HD box (an idiots guide for this idiot ), or do I have to go through all the JAM / Plugins trying all the different versions of CrossEPG / IPTV until I find one that works with my box? I ideally want: CrossEPG (and data feeds for SkyUK) CCcam IPTV And my HDD to be the storage space so I do not run out of storage for my plugins. Im about to reflash my image now because I have been trying all the plugins in JAM and not getting anywhere and now im out of space lol. Any links to this kind of document is greatly appreciated - if there are none, no probs, I will work it out in the end. Thanks

CrossEPG should be built in, if I remember well, so it should be on the Setup Menus/Plugin section. The CCcam can be installed from the JAM 5.x, also in the Plugin section. For the IPTV, it's built in the software, so you can already use the build in Streaming/IPTV FTA list that is on the box at installation. If you removed it uploading your own Channel List, you can always recover it thru the JAM also, see below how to do it, this topic explains how. Japhar FTA IPTV List : http://www.ourdreambox.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=2596#Post2596Concerning the other lists you would like to import, there is a very usefull tool that is called Enigma-TV IPTV Generator, that you can find on the IPTV section of the Forum, here is the link, Enigma-TV IPTV Generator : http://www.ourdreambox.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=3478#Post3478with this tool you can also copy the links from one Enigma2 box into a second one (so the second box can use the first box streams, as you could do on a PC with VLC from the WebIf). Hope all this can help you ! Admin

Hi, thanks for the starter info I have just done a fresh install and CrossEPG is not installed and I have only come across the 10 or so versions in the JAM that I can install. Up to now, all of these cause a green screen and reboot when I install and go to Menu -> Setup -> CrossEPG to set it up to change the storage location, green screen of doom! When I tried out a few things before my Japhar sim arrived, I installed an app / Plugin, but I dont remember its name. It had a load of icons that I could choose from including Apple Trailers, CartoonHD and a load of other apps, it was pretty cool, what is this called so you know? I know I had to run through a lot of other things that it installed before it worked, like curl, lib..? etc... before it would work. So with the JAM, is it a case of running through the list of apps, trying one, and if it works, then great, if not, then try another one? Then when you run out of insall space, you have to re-flash and start again, trying to remember the apps that worked and the ones that didnt? Thanks

Yes, definitely, if you have time, play with all and see what you like and what you don't want. Then once you know all what you need, you reinstall the image clean from the download link and put only what you want. Remember that you can always gain some extra capacity by adding a USB Memory Stick and by a trick of moving some files/folders into the Stick, you have a topic about it. Personally I don't like the plugins too much, as heavy and not so functionnal (perhaps only Youtube is Ok). I think you was talking about IPTV Player, that I think is built in, and I think CrossEPG also is built in the image, so you don't need to install as we incorporated it since various versions, under the request of all the members. Extra memory by moving from Internal to External (USB MemStick) Flash : http://www.ourdreambox.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=2602#Post2602You have to play a lot to find exactly what you need, and this is different for each user, so have fun and play as much as you can, as you then reflash the original clean image to do a clean install that is what you need. FYI, the IPTV player or CrossEPG are not installed as default, I will have to workout how to install these later when I can free up space / move things to the USB. Thanks for your help.

Hi all, this is what I installed (see attached file), copied this to the /tmp directory on my DM800HD, used the JAM Manual install manager, installed it and done, easier than going through all the IPTV things in Plugins/Jam.
You will need some space to do this, so I recommend mounting a USB and removing / moving and linking files from your DM800 to the files on the USB first.
Now onto CrossEPG... hopefully.
