Probably the best is to just reflash the image clean, as it really depends of the installation / ipk that was used during installation. Easier and faster is just reinstall the image clean.

Ok, I used ipk install for the driver. I have see that OpenPli 4.0 wIPTV v22 don't work with AverMedia dvb-t AF9015 driver.

My DM800HDse is a Sunray box with BSBE-801A tuner and usb Manhattan dvb-t stick and for years I use Nemesis 2.6 110r0. Now I have NC3 sim. I reinstall OpenPli 4.0 and now the yellow bar goes only the half way and stick there. I use the HTTP method and always finish the installation with the bootloader SSL84j. Iam totally lost know and was thinking about to put in my old sim 2.10 and start from there.

If you know something about this problem that the yellow bar goes just the half way in startup I appreciate some instruction.

Pall64,

Why are you doing all this ?

Just flash the OpenPLi 4.0 IPTV v22 image, that's all, then on the JAM install the AF9015 driver as shown on the topic below,

http://www.ourdreambox.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=10030#Post10030

I don't understand why you try to flash ssl, etc after the image, that already has it inside, you are only corrupting the image. So just flash the image and do the normal setup as you would do with any image.

I have misunderstood what Johnny B. said in his post " Re: No Ca or image failed ! Help ! [Re: pazitush]" ..... "If you want later to upload another Japhar image file, you can do it with your browser.
Upload the Japhar image file, do not reset, upload the ssl84J boot loader.
Restart your receiver etc...."

I understood that, every time I upload a new Japhar image I should upload the ssl84j after the image. But that was wrong.

Know I have upload OpenPli 4.0 wIPTV and it works, but not with the beautiful country startup picture just a black dreambox.

When I installed the usb driver for dvb-t I thougt I choose a wrong one "Avermedia Volar Black HD 850 (AF9015) because it dit´t work so well. There is no one without "HD" in Jam now, just in your post. Maybe it does't matter, but I had constantly freesing picture and a green screen.

If you have no boot logo on the TV, turn off the box and turn on, it should be then OK. It's important that you get the right bootlogo if you want the box to work 100% flawlessly.

Concerning the SD/HD for DVB-T Dongles, in fact there is no importance, as the stream is sent to the DM receiver that then handles the MPEG2 or the MPEG4/H264. So you can use a dongle labelled SD, to watch HD channels, as the job is not done by the dongle but by the DM Box / PC etc.

Admin

P.S.: Be careful as well, as there is the OpenPLi IPTV support with drivers, and there is the old images OE1.6 drivers for DVB-T just a little before in the list. So be sure you install the right drivers and not the old ones. Probably this is what happened, and reason why these doesn't work as these are for older images from 2010-2011.

In the second reboot I have now this beautiful freesing country boot logo picture on the screen. Know I will do some experiment with my usb dvb-t stick. Thank you for your quick reply.

I have upload new image Japhar OpenPli 4.0 wIPTV v22 and MastaG OpenPli 4.0 wIPTV v21 and both works fine until I upload DVB-t AF9015 then everything goes wrong f.ex. IPTV stop working. It is wery strange I can search and find channels on dvbt but not watching them, tune failed and sometimes it freeze.
Another thing is the timezone I live in GMT area when time is 8.00 it shows 9.00 it is very strange. When I change the time zone from -1 to GMT it jumps two hours.
I must have dvb-t and I know some user "kikan" had similar problems.

Hello,

Are you sure you used the right driver ? Please tell us the exact driver you installed, and from where. Was it from the OpenPLi 4.0 Support section on the JAM 5.x ? That's the only one that will work.

Remember also that if the IPTV/DVB doesn't work, it's mostly because of a false boot, so be sure you had the bootlogo when the box started.

Hi, on the satellite and IPTV site, everything works perfectly, no not the timezone, still working on that.

After I install drivers AF9015 for my USB dongle (have also tested AF9035 without progress) everything goes wrong.

I bought two Japhar NC3 for DM800se and one for DM8000. I tried to swap sim for DM800se to check if it was the sim but with the same problems so it not the sim NC3.

First I try to use OpenPli 4.0 wIPTV v22 and then Blackhole didn't make differens.

I took some pictures so you can see the process.

We need the PID:VID to know for sure which Chipset there is inside, and if it's supported by the Linux drivers,

Are you kidding me? These are only 4 of 11 that are in Jam 5.3. In Jam there are at least three AF drivers AF9005, AF9015 and AF9035. Why do you have them there if you don't support them?

Look at the link I gave you, there is MANY MANY more, as the AF9015 is only the chipset and MANY MANY Dongles are based on the exact same chipset, so you can see every line on the link is one dongle with it's VID:PID,

http://www.ourdreambox.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=10334#Post10334

On my actual calculation there is at least 111 dongles supported...

So for me it seems it's built-in the drivers (yours), check with the command as explained, send it and post back here the list of VID:PID you have back with telnet/SSH,

I will check, don't worry, I have few dongles here and will go thru them all and add all the VID:PID of the missing chipsets on the table/link I gave you. Will need some time ;o) naturally to do all this.

Ok, so my dongle should work and it works many years with Nemesis 110r0 and sim2.10.

Now I need to start from scratch and come up with something. Thank you for your patience Admin.

Just for test, try the v21 version of the image (instead of v22), we never know, as some members prefer the v21 as the v22 look like to have some bugs.
