hi just one more question do i have to program the sim with anything or its just swap and thats it and will oe 1.6 also work im using barry allen and im not sure if i cant have mixed oe images to boot because i only have 1.6 images installed all the 2.0 failed or are buggy like i said managed to intall pli 4 but cannot connect wifi

Concerning the multiboot, generally only the images from the same generation work, and you cannot mix various images if they have different drivers. So I generally tell it's better to have just one good and working image on the Flash, to have no issues and to have a stable box.

Hi, i have a DM800HDSE with e-star SIM v.3. To have more up-to-date images I bought the japhar nc3 v2 for dm800hdse, my question is:
1 is the japhar that I bought with my Box compatible?
SIM chip Japhar looks smaller than the e-star chip, is that why I can not get it recognized from the box?
To say I followed the guide but the error is always the same.

Yes, the Japhar Sim is compatible with all the Clone hardware as well as Original hardware.

You must do as explained in the tutorial, and remember that smaller is the chip, newer it is. Very old chips used by estar/ferrari/sim2 are big because technology used is 10-15 years old in their chips, so the die (silicium part) is much bigger and needed big protection.

EStar only produced DM800HDse V1 boxes, so you need to use V1 images/files etc. Not V2.

For the ALLSIM, it just helps to switch from one sim to another sim, without the NO CA ERROR. But it will NOT work with an image to have the image/video/audio/Tuners.

Naturally this when you will upgrade from Estar Sim to Japhar Sim... Upgrade means you will REMOVE the old Sim and insert the NEW Sim, Japhar (like when you change GSM/Mobile Operator when you change Sim in your mobile phone).

Yes, sure, you need to use a PC/SC Programmer/Reader (most Windows smarcard readers are), and you can then reflash it with the DM800HDseV1 OS you can find on the DM800HDse Japhar section here, under the OS section.
