Hi, my dm800se is starting to have weired behaviour when I boot it. At switch on, very often, I got "NO CA FOUND" but the flash image is ok. I have to try to switch it on and off several time before it starts to boot regularly. Also, even if I set up the bios correctly for the USB boot procedure it wont boot anything from usb. I'm sure that usb pen and the bios settings are ok because I have another Dm800se and with same settings it boots ok from usb pen. The usb ports seems to work correctly. I think I might have bios / flash chip issue or something on related HW. Any suggestion on what to do and what to check to solve this issue ? Many thanks for your patience and time. Best regards

Ok, I will swap the sim between the my two decoder and check is. the issue goes with it.
Another strange behaviour is that with the usb pen inserted it does not respond to the front switch pressed when I switch it on, meaning that it does not go into the firmware upload mode, but it boots as a standard. to put it in to upload FW mode I have to remove the usb pen.
Do you still think it might be a sim problem ?

One additional info: to haveit boot from a usb pen I have to keep the front botton pushed during the first part of the booting as I want to fhash a new image. If I do not do that it boots from the flash image even if the bios is set to boot from usb pen

Thanks for your replay. Yes I tried that several times with no results. That is why I'm thinking I might have Bios chip problems or related HW ciruits. It Might be also CPU issues as this ish the dreambox that has HDMI issue as well. I see HDMI output bootologo image only after the switch on but then just after duing the the image loding and also after the image is completed loaded I got "NO HDMI signal" and the HDMI stop to works. Only scart is working.

As you can see it's an error that touches many things, I would be more on the idea that it's a defective PSU, try a new PSU or even one that is higher than the 2-3Amp, like a 5 Amp from a DM9x0UHD box. Admin Hi the psu is already 5AMPS one and it is working ok on the other box. So the 12V in is ok. What about the internal box voltage step down ? What should I test ? CPU feed voltage, Bios feed voltage, ecc ?

You need to check with Johnny for these things, https://jb8a8f8.com/support/index.phpTry also to remove everything, like HDD, USB keys, and even the Tuner, to see if you have the same fault or not.
