My request is to back up an image ( nfi )

The script was sent to a tmp folder and then I gave it the simplification code on the receiver.

tar -zxf /tmp/*.tar.gz -C /

Then I searched the receiver menu and did not find the backup feature.

Please put a simple explanation explaining the use of backup work on this script

It's a SCRIPT, so it's all with command lines, there is no GUI/Plugin.

Just send the command line when you are located in the dreambox folder,

./backup_original.sh /media/hdd/

Good, but remember that NFI images will not work if bigger than 128 Mb... the bootloader will never be able to unpack/flash to the flash in the box (You would need to use multiboot as you state).

Is it possible to make a backup with the same Script( BackUp tool mkfs.iffs2 )
