Hi
I am trying to use D-Link DWA-110, a WLAN USB with Ralink RT73 chip in cvs+gp3 (OE2.0) image, but I've never been successful.
First, I updated all the plugins in "Manage Extensions" section and then I installed the "wlan-rt73_1.0-r6_dm800.ipk" file, by using the file browser. After that I cold booted my Dreambox DM800 HD PVR. I was waiting to see the orange LED on USB WLAN during the boot process, but nothing happened! Image booted up, and when I went to the Network section, there was no sign of any WLAN option!
I'm not an expert in linux based programming so please help me in a way that I can do it by myself.
Thanks.

The most important is that a driver needs to be compiled for the image you are using. So when you choose an image, be sure that the devices you want to connect if they need drivers, are supported and available for the image you install from the feeds. This is the best tip we can give, as without that you are mostly sure to never be able to install a driver/hardware into your box/image. Driver should be the RT73, as you can read below. https://wikidevi.com/wiki/D-Link_DWA-110_rev_A1Admin

Upgrade your sim to a Japhar Sim, and use one of the DM800HDseV2 Japhar images that support built-in Wifi on DM800HDseV2 boxes, http://www.ourdreambox.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=postlist&Board=49&page=1TS

As I wrote, image is buggy or drivers are not compatible, So you need to install a fully supported and working image, if you want this to work. Today as the Sim2 is dead and don't give support, the best way is to upgrade to a Japhar Sim and use a Japhar Image that is supported and has Wifi working/built-in. You can get the Japhar Sim for your DM800HDseV2 box at http://www.japhar.com/japhar and then you will be able to use the Japhar DM800HDseV2 images below, http://www.ourdreambox.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=postlist&Board=49&page=1Admin
