Johnny... what do you think of it ?
DM800HD doesn't load SSL with DreamUp/JapharFlasher
What can be wrong ?
We set properly the COM port, it does a normal boot/log (but it's in NO CA ERROR), shows DM800HD but doesn't go further loading the ssl to the box.
Test were done with 2 different cables Rs232-Rs232, on 2 different PCs (Laptop Docking and Desktop, both with real Rs232), under WinXP... tested JapharFlasher and DreamUp from Forhike (Patched), both same result, doesn't load the bootloader after recognizing the DM800HD (after DM800HD message shown on DreamUp box). Rj45 cable connected to the router via PowerPlugs for DM800HD and computer (internet via electricity network).

I think of a defective nand flash chip or at least it's disabled. Check the pin 9, if it's connected to ground. More info, see the Flash rom drawing. http://www.ourdreambox.com/ubbthreads.ph...4-schematic.jpg
