WARNING - You are moving files that could impact your image, I suggest you run a backup, unlike me, who manage to screw other things up. This caused me to reflash, but it's working!
DM800HD
Image install: OpenPLi_4.0_Japhar_DM800HD_wIPTV_SuperSim3_OS
Fresh Install Recommended
Note after fresh install system Flash is 60Mb with 57Mb used.
First thing to do from clean install is install enigma2-plugin-extensions-pluginskinmover_0.6_all.ipk.
Reboot GUI
Once reloaded, you can goto your Plugins menu and find PluginSkin Mover, you then want to start moving files you don't need, or in my case, I move everything. (Warning, I don't know if your system has any dependencies on running in Flash)
IPTV Player and and OpenWebIf were my 2 largest culprits on hogging along with the Skins.
I then reboot the device to ensure any changes it needs to do are done. I like to play it safe.
This got me to 51Mb (I think it's 50/50 on Kodi installing at this point, but I go a little further).
I then follow this:
http://www.ourdreambox.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=2602#Post2602Be careful not to delete the Cam you use if you use it!
This then got me to 50Mb.
I then move
enigma2-plugin-extensions-kodidirect_3.0_r0_all.ipk to my tmp file and OPKG install
It's a 6Mb file, so once installed and before reboot I delete from my tmp file. It gets to 59Mb following install.
It also takes a little while.
I then do a full restart, not sure why, but I opt not for E2 restart and go for a full system boot.
Soon as the system reboots I go back to PluginSkinMover and move the KodiDirect - It's a mighty 14.35Mb (I don't understand the logic of it install on a device with 60MB when only 10 is free - But it does it!).
Once done, I load KodiDirect backup, following the onscreen downloads and then goto the software page and download the error fix for sqlite 3 in my instance, running MIPS.
Then finally, I'm up and running again.
BTW I wrote this tutorial whilst doing a fresh install the whole process end to end took me around 30 minutes.
Now onto install my bouquets
Finally, my memory is still sat at 50Mb :)#
There are many Addons you can install, but only the E2 ones work for me, I get errors on all the others.
Big thanks to PCD for this addon, I just hope more are ported to E2 soon!
