I have tried to get crossepg to work on a DM800HD using a flash drive on USB or hard disk on USB. No matter what I do keep getting 'cannot open database', 'Error opening EPGDB' and 'No valid NIM found' The saved drive location is XXX /media /usb' Image is OpenPli 4 16th april. Sim is Japhar multi 3.
Any solution would be appreciated.

Thanks for your response. I flashed OpenPLi_4.0_Japhar_DM800HD_wIPTV_v17.nfi I did run the memory script right at the start to free up space.I then configured Crossepg using the image installed version. Memory, out of 60mb there is only 2mb available in root. Other than the script I have not added anything else to the image. There is no hdd shown in /media only usb - my previous image (blackhole) would mount the usb as hdd. Can you tell me how to change the usb hdd so that it is mounted as hdd? I suspected this may well be part of the problem. In blackhole crossepg was in /media/hdd whereas it is currently in /usr/crossepg.
Your help is appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks again for your help. When I followed this option my USB was reset each time I rebooted and stopped working correctly.
The solution that worked for me is to add the following to the /etc/initd rCS file just type these two lines at the very end of the file mount /dev/sda1 /media/hdd mkdir /media/hdd/movie
Then reboot your DM800HD. This is not all my own work but do not recall where I got this from!!!
The second issue is with crossepg when the Configure screen is shown the only option displayed is Red button = cancel and so settings were not being saved (in blackhole the red button is = back that also saves the settings) however the Green button is used in PLi to save and although it is not displayed pressing the GREEN button does actually save the settings.
All is now working great. Very impressed with Japhar Supersim and PLi4 image.
Thanks for your hard work.
