Hi, i have a Sunray SR4 triple tuner with big problem. After 5 minute (sometiems during startup) FTP does not work, telnet connection does not work, crashing, opkg does not work, if i try to download a plugin through Plugin Panel (Green Button) i see (No new Plugin found). I tried various images(Oplenpli 4.0) with flashing via http or Dreamup BSD but without solution. (other people said me the problem is RAM).
Please Help Me!

Mem test...
Test the box without the tuner. See if it's keep working with Iptv, or some hd movie file from a hdd or usb stick.

If the removal of the tuner not helps, and in this case the memory seems to work.
Than it could be the wifi network, or at least related to the network. See if it helps if you disable the wifi network. Some receivers have this option in the bios if it's build onboard.

Motherboard status leds are controlled by the cpu and the behavior could be different than the older receivers due the difference of programming which is programmed into the cpu. In any case, I can not tell if it says something.
But.. 1. without the tuner does not help. 2. No wifi either. 3. Memory Test indicates that it is good.
What remains is .. Nand flash chip, upload an image file with bad sectors recovery enabled, and see if it has bad sectors ..
If not, then it may be a poor/low voltage output of one of the DC to Dc IC's.
And otherwise, it is a more difficult, probably a not be solvable problem as a problem with the cpu. This is not repairable because the appropriate cpu's are difficult, most likely can not be found. Older dm800se cpu's won't work on the newer (Sunray/Estar) motherboards. They are different programmed and locked for reprogramming.

i tried to flahs with bad Sector recovery with JapharFlasher but I have not seen any bad Sector (if they were present, where they saw?).
i think the solution will change the motherboard....

If you think you are not capable of replacing some parts on the motherboard, as suggested by Johnny, replacing the full motherboard would be the next solution instead of repairing it, but sunray looks like be more and more bad quality, so be careful on what you will buy.
