OpenPLi 4.0 IPTV GStreamer 1.7.9 by MastaG Ferrari V3



Changes since last release:
- gstreamer upgraded to 1.7.90 (nearing the final 1.8 release)
- ffmpeg updated to 3.0
- gstreamer1.0-libav is now build against ffmpeg (thx to Taapat).
- a patch from mx3L for servicemp3 that should speed up IPTV zapping
- a second patch from mv3L for servicemp3 that should fix a possible GSOD when switching audio tracks
- a third patch from mx3L for the dvbmediasink that should fix a possible GSOD on seeking in mp4 streams
- support for bluray iso's by Taapat
- remote control's should now have their media-button working
- vermagic magics, you should be able to load any kernelmodule again.
- patch by christophecvr for setting the debug level in Menu -> Settings -> User-interface settings.

Note :
The patch for setting the debug level is very important since it fixes many possible IPTV issues on slower receivers like the DM800. It's highly recommended to set it level 0

Forgive my ignorance on the subject, but when I go to install the ipk file that you posted I find myself with collectal error ... where am I wrong? thanks for your patience

You have to select the right ipk, for your box (VU+ Solo ?), and you need to install the usb one and the a867. See last posts on the topic, copy the 2 files in /tmp, then "opkg install *.ipk". It should be ok.

This could possible fix some m3u8 streams freezing

- Fixed very large Packages.gz on the server
- Merged latest openpli-oe-core changes
- Merged latest OpenPLi enigma2 changes
- Upgrade oscam to rev 11225 and applied joeuser's latest tryfix oscam-emu patch
Emulating PowerVU should now work for multiple pids
- Lots of stuff I forgot...

OpenPLi 4.0 IPTV GStreamer 1.9.0.1 by MastaG (v17)

Changes:

- New gstreamer 1.9.0.1 recipes based on christophecvr's github (small changes for PLi4)
- Upgrade glib2.0 and some other components like gobject-introspection to satisfy the new gstreamer recipes
- gstreamer1.0-libav is built using it's minimal libav with only support for wma (thank you chris)
It's pre-installed on all receivers except for the ones with only 64MB of flash (dm800/800se/500hd)
- Full ffmpeg 3.0.1 package is in the feeds for use with IPTV Player's exteplayer3 (thx to Taapat for the original bbappend)
Login with telnet and issue: opkg update && opkg install ffmpeg
- Latest openpli-oe-core changes
- Latest enigma2 changes
- spark: libeplayer3 is pre-installed now (also in the feeds) for movie players with support for this library
Note: servicemp3 still uses gstreamer
- spark: some OpenPLi enigma2 backports (since Taapat doesn't maintain his enigma2 branch anymore)
The servicemp3 memleak patch has been applied with some other patches/commits I found useful
- spark: don't force async mode on the dvbaudiosink anymore, it's now the same as all other receivers again
- Add Vu+ Solo 2 Lonrisun V4 (v1 and v2) images + feed
