The tripple tuner is basically a satellite tuner with capabilities to also receive cable and terrestrial. It can work like a dvb-c, dvb-s or dvb-t tuner, but only one of those at a time.
You set it up like a satellite tuner but due to some settings in the satellites.xml you can make it switch to other modes. Yes you read it well, all settings are done in satellites.xml, no need for cables.xml or terrestrial.xml.
It switches to cable mode if the frequency starts with 01 and inversion="0", it switches to terrestrial mode if the frequency starts with 01 and inversion="1"
In dvb-c mode: fec_inner="0" is qam64 and fec_inner="5" qam256.
This all is managed by the satellites.xml. You need to make a custom satellites.xml which include all transportstream frequencies, qam values and symbolrates of your cable provider beside the already existing satellite lines. Put your custom satellites.xml in /etc/enigma2/satellites.xml, this will overrule all other satellites.xml files and it won't get overwritten by software updates.
After you created the satellites.xml you also need to configure a additional tuner.

Now for the T2 part, I think some setting like above is required to put the tuner in T2 mode. I will ask Sunray for some details.

I expect he trialtuner package would not work with new T2 tuner as well. I think it's also no longer maintained.

When you use OpenPli and configure your tuner like this, it should work.

Don't use the trailtuner (doesn't work with PLi).

/etc/tuxbox/satellites.xml

configure a tuner and merge the cable settings to the satellites.xml.
You can have multiple sections in your satellites.xml

<sat name="3.1E Eutelsat 3A/3C..Rascom QAF 1R Ku Band" flags="1" position="31">
blabla
</sat>

<sat name="Ziggo 9004" flags="1" position="1">
blabla
</sat>

Use this satellite.xml, place it in /etc/enigma2. This is the so called user satellite.xml which doesn't get overwritten during updates.

fec_inner="0" -> QAM64
fec_inner="5" -> QAM256
frequency 372MHz -> frequency="01372000"

The SR4 tuner is a sat tuner with capabilities to also receive cable and terrestrial. It can handle one mode at a time, it's not a cable, satellite and terrestrial tuner in one package !
You set it up like a sat tuner but due to some settings in the satellites.xml you can switch to other modes. It switches to cable mode if the frequency starts with 01 and inversion="0", it switches to terrestrial mode if the frequency starts with 01 and inversion="1".
You also can use the trialtuner, but I'm not a big fan of this product because it's not compatible with OpenPli and has to many weird issues (freezes). Trial tuner shows you 3 tuner, but you can still use one at a time.

For DM800HDse V2

1) Scaricare il file e inserirlo nella cartella /tmp/ del vostro dm800sev2
2) Digitare i seguenti comandi in sequenza:
- opkg install --force-overwrite /tmp/*ipk
- chmod 755 /etc/init.d/trialtuner
- chmod 755 /etc/rcS.d/S50trialtuner
3) Riavviare il box

TrialTuner Changelog

2.0.0b
- Upgraded driver to new kernel version (3.2)
- Supported for openembedded 1.6 and openembedded 2.0
- Fixed usbtuner and vtuner (now they works without any wrapper!)

[KNOWN ISSUES]
- Decoder freezes when changing channel on other tuner during registrations. No solutions. Only
locks are available on Enigma2 gui, not managed from driver.

1.0.4b
- Fixed FEC capabilities on DVB-C tuner. Works with dvbapi 5 (but not new openpli with full dvbapi 5 migration).
- Using HP code-rate of DVB-T parameters for QPSK inner FEC.
- Fixed usbtuner e vtuner using appropriate wrapper (few days for their releasing).
- Switch from DVB_ALGO_HW to DVB_ALGO_SW on dvbapi for tuning software support.

[TODO]
- Build new driver versions with full dvbapi 5 support.

[KNOWN ISSUES]
- Enigma2 crashes on some DVB-T channel (ex. Rete4) with Vhannibal DVB-T settings.
It may be fixed doing an automatic scan on DVB-T tuner without deleting current channels.
- Decoder freezes when changing channel on other tuner during registrations. No solutions. Only
locks are available on Enigma2 gui, not managed from driver.

1.0.3b:
- Fixed video reproducing of hdd recorded
- Fixed tuning DVB-S frequency when switching from VHF DVB-T frequency.
- Fixed channel switching from dvb-c/t to dvb-s (some times failed to tune)
- Fixed the qam256 frequency from cable (set FEC to 7/8) (thanks to gjstroom for test and support)

[KNOWN ISSUES]
- Decoder freeze when change channel on other tuner during registrations. No solutions. Only
locks ara available on Enigma2 gui, not managed from driver.
- usbtuner and vtuner still don't work. There are some problems with demux support. They must be fixed.

[NOTE]
- Unfortunately this trialtuner is only a software driver. It's not possible to view, for example, dvb-s while recording dvb-t.
The hardware tuner is a combo, not a real multi-frontends.

1.0.2b:
- Fixed tuning of VHF frequency of DVB-T.

[KNOWN ISSUES]
- usbtuner and vtuner don't work now. They must be fixed.

1.0.1b:
- First driver release.

[TODO]
- DVB-C must be tested

[KNOWN ISSUES]
- VHF frequency of DVB-T can't be tuning.
- usbtuner and vtuner don't work now. They must be fixed.

Vedi post giusto prima, http://www.ourdreambox.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=9540#Post9540

Apri il tuo box e controlla bene che il tuner sia bene inserito nel slot... mi sembra molto strano che non riconosca al minimo il Tuner Sat... del Trial Tuner.

Triple/Test Tuner Drivers for Kernel 3.2 DM800HDse V1 (OpenPLi 4.0+, OpenPLi 5.0+, OpenPLi 6.0+, OpenBlackHole 4.0+) : Download Here

It is compatible with DM920UHD with OpenPLi (2022-06-05-develop) ?

My Trial tuner, DVB-S2/1 x DVB-C/2 x T2 multistream

DVB-S - tuner A : OK
DVB-S - tuner B : OK
DVB-C : KO - empty

Who helps me to resolve this problem ?

The Trial tuner (that was sold with Sim2 boxes), was only 1 tuner simultaneously (it would switch from S, to T or C). I seen drivers only for DM800HD (if I remember well) and DM800HDse/V2.

If we talk about the DM9x0 Tuner, based on ST Chipset (also useable on DM800HDse), it's a Dual Tuner, not triple, you choose between T or C for the second one. It has 3 inputs connectors, Sat + Terrestrial + Cable, but 2 Tuners, that you set to the one you want (Sat + Terr or Cable).
