The drivers for Wifi, DVB-T, etc are linked to the image, so you can only install the drivers built for the image. The image installed needs to have available the drivers. You cannot install drivers from other origins. If you do, it will not work.

So in such cases, you need to know which image you have installed, which SSL/Sim, and which dongle (PID/VID) you want installed.

I don't find any RT5370 driver for the image you talk about. If the image doesn't recognize it properly then probably you have only left the solutions to use a better supported image, such as the OpenPli 4.0 IPTV but would need to upgrade the sim to the Japhar NC3.

The OpenPLi 4.0 IPTV recognizes automatically the RT5370 Wifi Dongle, but you need a NC3 Japhar Sim.

You need to get the Japhar NC3 sim, once you receive it you will have to proceed as per the Tutorial, replacing the SSL, then the sim when the box is off, then flashing the OpenPLi 4.0 IPTV.

It depends of the image, every image support some specific Wifi Dongle such as the very old RT3070 or RT2870, but both impossible to find today, as replaced by the RT5370 and now the MT7602.

You can try all images on the Ferrari section, until one works with your Wifi Dongle.

If you don't find anything, then you will have, if you want to use your dongle, to upgrade your box to a newer Sim to use newer images such as the OpenPli 4.0 that gives you also the IPTV compatibility for example, etc and much much more, like speed etc. It's really worth upgrading. Try the Ferrari images, only the ones built-in with drivers could work, if your Wifi Dongle is supported.

Yes, confirmed 100%. INET was based on Ferrari hardware, and Japhar is Ferrari compatible.
