Tuners don't work with some images

I have tried a number of times to use OpenBlackHole 1.4 and OpenPLi 4.0 for the IPTV services they offer, only to find that the DM8000 tuners do not work.
At the moment I'm using Domica 9 which works very smoothly.
(I upgraded my box to the Japhar Sim)
Any ideas as to why it should be so?

If your Tuners doesn't work on DE-OpenBlackHole 1.4, as well as OpenPLi 4.0 then it looks like more a problem of PSU. Generally the DE-OpenBlackHole 1.4 works always, on the OpenPLi 4.0 IPTV you have to be sure it properly booted with the Green Field logo, and only then you can check your tuners that should work. If you have sporadic problems of Tuners not recognized then it means your PSU is starting to be weak and should have replaced the 7 Capacitors as explained on the topic below. http://www.ourdreambox.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=1592#Post1592Admin
